Taking a good photograph is more difficult than one can imagine when there is little space to illuminate the subject and the background is dark. These problems present themselves when taking pictures in a dark church, and then suddenly the wedding party goes outside. This particular shot was taken indoors and we found a light background for the subject to stand in front of. It was enhanced later in Aperture to get the white balance correct.
